Benjamin Elby Ince, 82, passed away on March 29, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's at Cottage in the Meadow.

He was born and raised in Wapato, WA to parents Martin and Nellie Dudley Ince. Ben worked in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 36 years. Upon his retirement in 1987, Ben and his wife Millie returned to Yakima from Port Orchard.

Ben is survived by his wife Millie of 53 years, 2 children, and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Ben was very talented in wood crafting. He built replicas of antique cars and carved many wild animals. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting, fishing, and riding his 4-wheeler through the woods. During the Korean War, Ben was a radio instructor.

No formal services are planned at this time. A private family celebration of life is pending for the summer.
